Bluleaf’s adventure in Kosovo keeps going on, we’re in Rahovac (Kosovo) with CIHEAM – IAMB for KosAgri project: here’s first work day report
Circa one year since the beginning of activities in Kosovo (see here), we are still in Rahovec to highlight achievements reached so far and new development opportunities.
During our first day in Kosovo, our team was invited to the office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, where a Screen House has been set up for variety selection facility of both national (about 10) and international wine vines.
During the brief presentation meeting after, there had been outilined activities to be carried out these days, in close collaboration with the Bluleaf and CIHEAM teams.
The activities will concern both monitoring and control of stations installed so far, checks on development of phytosanitary monitoring software, along with additional information and data collection that will become the basis for further development of the software and , set up of a Workshop on use of Cloud technologies for crop tracking and decision support.
The workshop will be held on Friday by members of both Bluleaf and CIHEAM team.
We were also in StoneCastle, the native winery that is successfully using Bluleaf on its own wine-growing crops for both irrigation management and plant protection
